The goal this year for the Pioneer Girl Scout Area is 10,000 WHY A COOKIE SALE? In order that the two Girl Scout camps. Camp Rotary and Camp Kiwanis, may he maintained and kept, in good repairs. WHAT ARE THE COOKIES LIKE? They are crisp creme-filled sand wich-type cookies packed 24 to a package - 12 vanilla and 12 chocolate. Each cookie; i.- stamp ed with the Girl Scout insignia. The price is 40c a box. WHEN WILL THE COOKIES BE SOLD? Girl Scouts will begin selling cookies immediately and they will sell through March 19th. Girl Scout.- will ask only neigh bors. relatives, and friends to buy cookies. HOW DOES THE GIRL SCOUT BENEFIT? Through an enlarged camping program; through learning to be business-like; through sup plementing her troop budget. Again this year we feel there shouid he no individual prizes hut that. the. troop as a whole should share in the profits. Troops retain for their own treasury three cents on each box of cookies sold.
